MIRANSHAH:
The Pakistan Army, in collaboration with the Fata Secretariat, organised a free eye clinic in the Civil Colony of Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan Agency on Monday. Colonel Farid Khan told journalists the tribal people have rendered heavy sacrifices for the nation and deserved such facilities. He said about 400 patients suffering from eye disease, both men and women, would be provided free treatment at the medical unit established at Miranshah Fort. Dr Jafar, who is in charge of the Outdoor Patient Department, said the camp was originally established for one day but has been extended to three to facilitate the influx of patients.
