Pharm-D admissions: KU sets Nov 19 deadline for applications
The minimum marks required are 60 per cent in the Intermediate board’s pre-medical examinations.

The deadline for submitting applications for the Karachi University’s five-year Pharm-D programme is November 19. The minimum marks required are 60 per cent in the Intermediate board’s pre-medical examinations or an equivalent qualification. In the previous admission cycles, people who were shortlisted and made admission offers had higher grades. Last year, the cut-off for admission was 79 per cent for the morning session and 73 per cent for the evening. People can obtain admission forms and prospectuses for Rs1,500 from United Bank Limited’s booth located at the insitution’s Silver Jubilee gate. They can also be picked up from the bank’s branch located on University Road, opposite Baitul Mukkarram Mosque. According to this year’s admission policy, students applying to the pharmacy department can also opt for for self-finance seats which will cost them Rs0.5 million.
