Explosion: CD shop targeted, no lives lost

Miscreants had planted the bomb near the shop’s shutter.

CHARSADDA: A CD shop belonging to Fida Muhammad was destroyed in old bazaar when a bomb went off on Saturday. SHO Parang police, Ijaz, told The Express Tribune that the explosion occurred around 1:20am and the CD shop was destroyed. Miscreants had planted the bomb near the shop’s shutter. A bomb disposal squad official said that three kilogrammes of explosives were used in the bomb. “Three adjacent shops and a house were also partially damaged because of the blast,” the official said, adding that no one was killed or injured. Muhammad registered a case against unidentified culprits.
