The audit's initial report will be submitted to the Supreme Court on November 15.
Earlier on Thursday it was reported that Ogra had hired audit firm, Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman Chartered Accountants to carry out the audit.
An Ogra official had earlier said that the firm would present the audit report within four days, by November 12.
According to the details, 11 CNG stations will be audited in the first stage. These stations will be selected from rural and urban areas to evaluate profit and return on investments for CNG stations. As many as 350 stations will be audited in the second stage. A detailed report will be submitted after both audits have been completed.
