Judo: National event to assist selectors
The South Asian Games will be held in New Delhi in February next year.
KARACHI:
The Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) will organise the National Championship in Karachi next month, which will serve as a trial to select the team for the South Asian Games.
According to the federation, the championship, which will be competed amongst all the top departments including Army, Wapda and Railways besides provincial teams, will begin on December 10.
A PJF official said the tournament will ensure the presence of all the best players from the national squad in the regional event. The South Asian Games will be held in New Delhi in February next year.
