Football: Kaleem’s goal-scoring spree continues
KRL striker scores fifth hat-trick in football league.
KARACHI:
KRL’s Kaleemullah continued his goal-scoring spree, registering his fifth hat-trick in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) to help his team beat PMC Athletico FC 3-0.
After a lacklustre first period, the striker started the fireworks in the second-half, scoring his first goal in the 66th minute. There was more misery for PMC as Haroon Yousuf was sent off in the 81st-minute before Kaleem scored twice in the final moments of the game to cap a superb day for KRL.
KRL now have 43 points from 17 matches.
In another game, Sanaullah’s hat-trick earned Baloch FC their maiden win of the competition against much-fancied opponent NBP.
