7 dead, 25 injured in Muridke-Narowal bus accident

Seven people were killed and more than 25 were injured in an accident on Muridke-Narowal Road on Friday, Express News reported.
The bus, which was on its way to Shakargarh from Lahore, overturned near the Chaura Rajputan area in an attempt to save a motorcyclist who was coming its way.
The bus driver and conductor were among seven people who died on the spot. Five of the deceased were identified as Nawazish, Qamar, Nawaz, Owais and Imtiaz.
Locals pulled out the injured by cutting the vehicle open.
District Police Officer Muridke reached the accident site along with a contingent of police.
