Family feud: Woman dies of burn injuries

Police suspect victim's husband and in-laws were involved in intentionally burning the woman.

KARACHI: A 25-year-old woman died on Thursday four days after sustaining 85% burns. The woman was brought to the Civil hospital by her husband and in-laws.

Police have registered an FIR against Saira’s husband and in-laws who, they suspect, were involved in intentionally burning the woman. The suspected individuals have, however, reportedly gone into hiding since the incident.

The woman lived in Baldia Town and had four children.
