MIANWALI: A seventh class student was beaten up and his arm broken allegedly by a teacher.  Police said Behram Khan, a student of Government Central Model School, was beaten up by his teacher, Shafqatullah, for speaking in the middle of a lecture. Behram’s class fellows said that the teacher first beat him with a stick and later smashed his head on the desk. They said Behram started shouting due to which some other students also started crying. The teacher then left the class, they said. Behram’s parents were informed and he was taken to a hospital, where doctors treating him said that his left arm was broken. Behram’s elder brother, Delawar Khan, filed a complaint against the teacher. He also appealed the chief minister to take notice of the incident.
