Demanding compensation: Pharmacists protest in North Waziristan

Pharmacist will march to Islamabad, if their demand are not met.

MIRANSHAH:
The Chemists and Druggist Association (CDA) in Miranshah observed a black day demanding compensation from the government for losses suffered due to military operations and militant attacks. Protesting in front of the Miranshah Press Club, CDA President Ahmad Din said their shops and the Shawal Medical Complex were destroyed in clashes between militants and security forces on November 7, 2011. He claimed security forces and the political administration had promised to compensate the pharmacists but had failed to do so yet. CDA General Secretary Muhammad Ali said if their demands were not met by November 20 they would march to Islamabad and protest in front of the Parliament.
