Obama grandmother’s victory dance

I had full faith and confidence that he was going to win, says Sarah Obama.

Sarah Obama – 90 this year and the third wife of the paternal grandfather of the president, who has said he regards her as a grandmother – led villagers in the western Kenyan village of Kogelo in a dance to celebrate Barack Obama’s re-election — a victory she says she never doubted. Asked whether she had been worried by reports that the Republican challenger Mitt Romney could win, she said it had not bothered her at all, The Telegraph reported. “I was not devastated at heart because I had full faith and confidence that he was going to win,” said Sarah Obama.
