Increasing linkages: President invites Qatari businesses

President assured the delegation of his personal commitment and support to all trade and investment initiatives.

DOHA:
President Asif Ali Zardari has invited Qatari businessmen to invest in Pakistan’s banking, energy, infrastructure, real estate, mining, agriculture and oil and gas sectors. He was talking to a delegation of Qatari businessmen that called on him here on Wednesday. The delegation was headed by Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industries Vice Chairman Mohammad bin Ahmad bin Tawar alKawari, and included representatives from the Qatar Business Association. The President assured the delegation of his personal commitment and support to all trade and investment initiatives undertaken by them. He also told them that Pakistan’s newly-trained work force is proficient in English and is acknowledged as hard working and intelligent. He said that Pakistan is open for business and investment as never before.
