Marwat likely to face no-confidence motion

Squash federation secretary’s days in office could be numbered.

KARACHI:
Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Secretary Abdul Wahab Marwat’s days in office could be numbered as a ‘no-confidence movement’ is likely to be presented against him in the executive meeting to be held today in Islamabad.

It has been learnt by The Express Tribune that all four provincial associations oppose Marwat holding office.

“The main agenda from our side would be to present no-confidence movement against Marwat as he has to go for the betterment of squash,” said a provincial association official.

“All associations have unanimously decided to stand against the PSF secretary. We need the official to be elected after a thorough process.”

Meanwhile, members of the committee were also not pleased over the new players’ rankings created by the PSF secretary.
