Five-star KRL down Wohaib FC

Kaleemullah’s superb run in football league continues.

Kaleemullah’s superb run continued as the striker registered a hat-trick to help KRL down Wohaib FC 5-1 at the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL).

According to information provided by the Pakistan Football Federation, Kaleem opened the scoring in the seventh minute before Mohammad Adil put KRL 2-0 in front. Noman Khan pulled one back in the 18th minute but that was the last success for Wohaib FC.

Kaleem added another in the 25th minute as KRL went into half-time 3-1 in front. If there was any sniff of a chance for Wohaib FC, Abid Khan’s strike in the 47th minute put that notion to rest.

Kaleem completed his hat-trick with an injury-time goal as KRL completed the rout.

In another match, hosts Army prevailed over Wapda 2-1. Ansar Abbas opened Army’s account in the 11th minute before Jaffar Khan converted a penalty in the 32nd.

Wapda’s Zulfiqar Ali scored on a free kick in the 50th minute but Army held their nerve to prevail in the end.

Meanwhile, Muslim FC held HBL to a 1-1 draw. Mohammad Yaqoob scored for HBL in the 53rd minute before Mohammad Hanif equalised 12 minutes later.
