LAHORE: PepsiCo Pakistan has launched a tree plantation drive titled ‘Go Green – Grow Green’, aimed at engaging the stakeholders from different walks of lives to understand and realise the value of clean neighbourhood and contribute to the cause by planting a sapling within their homes and neighbourhood. “A clean and salubrious neighbourhood can only be possible through the plantation of trees which not only beautify our surroundings but also act as lungs for us, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people,” said Jahanzeb Khan, Country Manager PepsiCo (Pakistan & Afghanistan Beverages), while launching the campaign in Sundar Industrial Estate on the suburbs of Lahore. He said PepsiCo has joined hands with schoolchildren from non-government organisation TCF to engage them in planting trees and letting them know why community service is important for them.
