Chaudhry Nisar slams Altaf Hussain

Chaudhry Nisar asked that the UK High Commissioner be summoned to explain why a UK citizen was instigating Pak Army.

Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has asked the government to summon the UK High Commissioner to explain why a UK citizen, Altaf Hussain, was instigating the Pakistan Army.

Speaking in the National Assembly on Friday, Nisar said his party will oppose any army general who intervenes in civilian affairs.

He said the PML-N believes only the parliament is entitled to bring about a change in the system.


Nisar also criticised collection of funds being done separately for the flood victims by the army.

Meanwhile, MQM Parliamentary Leader Farooq Sattar said the MQM stands for elimination of feudalism and rule of the middle class. He blamed the PML-N for conspiring to hold mid term elections.

The house also passed two resolutions reaffirming belief in democracy, constitutionalism and the need for the elimination of feudalism and corruption from the country
