Post-Hajj Flights: Airlines issued notice over delay
Ministry of Religious Affairs demands explanation from airlines.
ISLAMABAD:
Ministry of Religious Affairs on Friday issued a show cause notice to the management of a private airlines over the inappropriate delay of its one of the Hajj flights for more than 24 hours.
According to the notice issued by the ministry, the management of private airlines has been asked to explain reasons for the delay in the said flight. A penalty will be imposed by the ministry if the private airlines fails to explain convincing reasons for the delay, the notice said.
The notice also reminded the private airlines to ensure smooth functioning of Hajj flights operation so that inconvenience in the arrival of pilgrims could be avoided.
