Seizing weapons: Seven Afghan suspects arrested in Dir
Seven people arrested including an Afghan National Army operative.

Seven Afghan citizens were arrested from a house in the Afghan refugee camp during a raid on Friday.
Security forces raided a house located in Timergara Bazaar in Dir Lower district during early hours of the morning, said an official.
“Forces seized weapons from the refugees,” the official said. He added that seven people including an Afghan National Army operative were arrested from the place. The arrested men have been shifted to an undisclosed location.
Earlier, authorities said that Lower Dir’s border with Afghanistan had been sealed and steps taken to check the infiltration of militants from across the border. According to officials, check posts had been increased while additional security forces also deployed to deal with incursions.
