Faisalabad chamber: PM to visit FCCI on November 17

FCCI will make recommendations to the premier with reference to electricity and gas load-shedding.

On the invitation of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf will visit the FCCI on Saturday, November 17, 2012.



Talking to newsmen here today, FCCI President Mian Zahid Aslam said that the forthcoming visit of the premier is quite promising, as far as the problems faced by the Faisalabad-based business community are concerned.

He maintained that businesses and industry in Faisalabad are facing severe problems with regard electricity load-shedding, and “unreasonable and unjustifiable” curtailment of gas as compared with other regions in Punjab.

Suggestions have also been invited from chamber members on problems faced by them, and the FCCI will make recommendations to the premier with reference to electricity and gas load-shedding, taxation, city development and amenities projects, as well as resolving issues faced by the economy, he said.
