Pharmaceutical giant: GlaxoSmithKline expresses interest in expanding presence

The governor also attended the Trade and Investment roundtable conference hosted by the PBTIF at Asia house, London.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, on Friday, visited the headquarters of the GlaxoSmithKline, a UK-based world’s leading pharmaceutical company. Talking to the Sindh Governor, the officials of the company informed that the company was interested to invest more in Karachi.



They said the company intends to further expand its business activities in Pakistan. The governor also attended the Trade and Investment roundtable conference hosted by the Pakistan Britain Trade and Investment Forum (PBTIF) at the Asia house, London. Addressing the conference, Khan urged British investors as well as Pakistani expatriates to invest in Pakistan, said a statement issued from the Governor House on Friday.
