LAHORE: Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court Umar Ata Bandial on Wednesday sought a reply from the interior ministry on a petition of Jamatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed. The JuD chief challenged the restrictions imposed by the federal government on the group’s activities including collecting hides of sacrificial animals during Eid. The Petitioner’s counsel AK Dogar argued that JuD is a charitable organisation.
