Free-Will Marriage: SHO served notice for harassment
Petitioner Shahina Bibi said she married Mohammad Riaz of her free will on October 18.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Hamid Hussain on Tuesday issued a notice to the Lohari Gate SHO for November 3 on a petition filed by a woman seeking directions for the SHO not to harass her.
Petitioner Shahina Bibi said she married Mohammad Riaz of her free will on October 18. Her parents got a bogus case registered against Riaz. She said policemen including the SHO raided her house on October 23 and harassed her. She said the SHO asked her to divorce Riaz and threatened her with dire consequences if she did not act upon his ‘advice’.
