Indian external affairs minister: Khurshid vows to continue CBMs
Khurshid promises to follow through on his predecessor’s continuing dialogue with Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD:
India’s newly-appointed External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid promised to follow through on his predecessor’s continuing dialogue with Pakistan. Talking to a private television channel on Tuesday, Khurshid said “Pakistan is our close neighbouring country, which cannot be ignored at any cost”. He said he would continue the confidence building measures initiated by the outgoing external affairs minister S M Krishna, adding that all issues would be resolved through talks.
