PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister (CM) Amir Haider Khan Hoti has announced to setup a university in district Swabi, which he will soon be inaugurating during his visit to the district. The announcement was made during his meeting with Awami National Party’s (ANP) Swabi delegation led by district president Rehman Khan at his house in Mardan on Monday. Hoti said that the ANP is following the footsteps of their party founder Abdul Ghaffar Khan, who dreamt of a well educated K-P.  He said a total of 17 universities have been established in the province during the ANP’s tenure. Hoti also announced to increase Tobacco Sess from 5% to 100%. The extra amount collected will be used for development projects, particularly in the tobacco producing areas.  He further said that the ANP government will soon overcome electricity shortages by setting up small dams.
