Robbery Or Grudge?: Man beats up another
No complaint was registered against anyone.
GUJRANWALA:
A suspected robber was beaten up by some citizens in Model Town area on Friday. Police said Malik Ahmad, owner of an automobile workshop, caught one Imtiaz while he was trying to steal cash and some mechanical parts from the workshop. He started beating him up and was later joined by some of his customers. Police were called and the man was rescued. Imtiaz later told police that he had not been stealing. He said he had gone to the workshop to stop Ahmad from eve teasing his sister. It was because of this reason, he said, that Ahmad had beaten him up and accused him of robbery. No complaint was registered against anyone.
