‘Stop showing suspects on TV’
Showing the suspects arrested on TV affects the suspects as well as legal procedure.
KARACHI:
The Supreme Court took serious note of the Rangers showing the suspects it had arrested on TV as it affects the suspects as well as legal procedure.
Prosecutor General Shahadat Awan informed the court that the suspects, even those involved in heinous crimes like kidnapping for ransom, were freed later on, as witnesses did not identify them in courts.
