Golf: Munir finishes fourth in Dubai
“I had chances, but did not feel very comfortable with my putter,” said Munir.
KARACHI:
Pakistan number three Mohammad Munir finished joint-fourth after a poor final round of three-under-par 75 at the Shaikh Maktoum Dubai Open, which concluded at the Al Badia Golf Club yesterday.
Overnight leader Munir stumbled to a disappointing 75, finishing tied fourth at six-under along with Sebastian Heisele, Fredrik Quicker and Lindsay Renolds. He was aiming for a back-to-back victory but handed the initiative away with three bogeys in the first three holes and could not recover despite picking up shots on the seventh and the 10th.
“I had chances, but did not feel very comfortable with my putter,” said Munir.
“This is golf, things always do not go you away.”
