Humaima Malick wins South Asia Rising Star Film Award
Humaima wins the award in the Best Lead Actress category for her role in the film Bol.

Pakistani film actor Humaima Malick won the South Asia Rising Star Film Award in the Best Lead Actress category for her role in the movie Bol.
Humaima was contesting against Indian actors Tanishtha Chatterjee, Parineeta Chopra, Rasike Dugal and Preeti Desai in the category.
Overwhelmed with the achievement, Humaima said, “I had no idea this role would earn so much recognition. It is an amazing honour to receive another award in a foreign land for a movie that is very close to my heart. I owe the entire team of Bol, Shoaib Mansoor and my family for this achievement.”
Humaima has also been nominated in the best actor category at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, competing against India’s Vidya Balan.
