Gulf International beat Lahore Shaheen by six wickets in a Twenty20 veteran cricket tournament match at the Model Town cricket ground yesterday.
Batting first, Lahore Shaheen were able to muster 139 for eight with Javaid Malik contributing 31, Muhammad Munir 28 and Muhammad Arshad 23.
In reply, Gulf International were able to overhaul the target in the 19th over for the loss of four wickets. Umar Farooq scored a half-century, finishing with 68, while Munawar Malik made 32. Farooq was named man of the match for his half-century.
