Releasing accomplices: Terrorists threaten to blow up jails
Prison officials claim that the threats were faxed from a public call office.
KARACHI:
Banned terrorist group Jundallah has issued death threats to the Sindh inspector general for prisons and deputy inspector general Karachi Central jail, stating that they will blow up the prison to release their accomplices. A number of Jundallah men are in jail, including some who are on death row. According to jail officials, threats were faxed along with a map which indicated the location from where the attackers will break into the jail. Prison officials claimed that the threats were faxed from a public call office, whose location has been traced out. Previously, threats had been issued by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
