Spread of crime: Doctors protest colleague’s kidnapping
PMA presidents, other speakers say that 27 doctors had fallen victim to targeted killings.

The Pakistan Medical Association (BMA) in Balochistan organised a rally on Monday against the kidnapping of ophthalmologist Dr Saeed Ahmed. The president of PMA Balochistan Dr Sultan Tareen, and other speakers, said that 27 doctors had fallen victim to targeted killings and 13 others had been kidnapped during the last three years. The doctors regretted that the provincial government had failed to provide doctors with any security in this regard. Khan said that doctors will continue to observe a strike throughout the province for the sixth day in running to protest the kidnapping of doctors and press for Dr. Saeed Khan’s recovery.
