Entrepreneurship: Pakistani students attend e-seminar

IBA, Harvard University’s South Asia Initiative organised the e-seminar on encouraging entrepreneurship in Pakistan.

KARACHI: The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and the Harvard University’s South Asia Initiative organised an e-seminar on encouraging entrepreneurship in Pakistan on Friday. The seminar featured Dr Tarun Khanna who is a professor at the Harvard Business School and the director of South Asia Initiative. Faculty and students from over 20 universities attended the video conference. Dr Khanna talked about how people in China and India were using demand and supply mechanisms to run successful businesses and fulfil the needs of society. Encouraging Pakistani students to do the same, he said that “Pakistan has to find its own path by motivating people and giving them role models from the middle class”.
