Fake domiciles: One held for forgery
Due to a public holiday on Saturday, no official from the DCO office was available to comment on the issue.

An official of the District Coordination Officer’s office was arrested on Saturday for providing forged domicile certificates. The Torghar Police arrested Qasim, a junior clerk after a couple of candidates applying for government jobs in Torghar divulged during investigation that they had acquired forged domicile certificates from Qasim at a cost of Rs5,000 per certificate. Police sources said that since the status of Torghar was changed to that of a district, people have been forging their domiciles to secure jobs in various government departments. Due to a public holiday on Saturday, no official from the DCO office was available to comment on the issue.
