Crime: One killed, one injured in separate incidents
A woman was murdered while another was hospitalised after allegedly being beaten by her husband in Hazara.

A woman was murdered while another was hospitalised after allegedly being beaten by her husband in Hazara.
In the first incident, Zahirullah Khan, a resident of Mardan, lodged a complaint saying that on Thursday he got a call from his brother-in-law, Imran, that his (the complainant’s) sister Shakeela Bibi,22, had died of a cardiac arrest.
Khan said the body had bruises on the neck. When he inquired, Imran replied that Shakeela had committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan.
He lodged a complaint with the police and took the body home. On Friday, an autopsy of the body conducted at Women and Children Hospital revealed that the death was caused by strangulation.
The police arrested Imran and his father.
Meanwhile, a married woman who was allegedly subjected to violence, was hospitalised in critical condition in Abbottabad.
The police said that she was hospitalised after suffering fits. However, her doctors said that she fell into coma after suffering head injury.
Pervez, her father, said he visited her two days back. She was lying unconscious and her body bore torture marks. He then took her to the hospital.
He accused his son-in-law Gulraiz, who is still at large, of beating her up.
