Matters of concern: Wafaq-ul-Madaris team meets governor
Members reportedly shared their concerns on the statement by Altaf Hussain, calling them “deen kay tajir”.
KARACHI:
A 12- member delegation of the Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan held a meeting with Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan at Governor House on Thursday. The members reportedly shared their concerns on the statement by Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain, calling them “deen kay tajir”. The delegation, led by Maulana Saleemullah Khan, briefed Khan about the problems they were facing. Assuring them that their concerns would be addressed, Khan appreciated their efforts to promote peace and harmony in the country. Maulana Abdul Razzaque Sikandar, Mufti Naeem, Maullana Asadullah Thanvi and Qari Usman were among those who attended the meeting.
