BAHAWALPUR:
City police and the Excise Department impounded 3,211 unregistered vehicles in a joint operation in September. Police claimed that the operation had saved government Rs10 million. The operation was conducted on the directions of District Police Officer Sohail Habib Tajik under the supervision of Superintendent of Police (Investigations) Azhar Gujjar. Police said a stolen motorcycle was also recovered during the operation and a case has been filed with the Civil Lines police.
