The Qasim Ali Khan Mosque received no claims of the sighting of Zil Hajj crescent and decided to celebrate Eidul Azha on Saturday, October 27. Qasim Ali Khan Mosque chief cleric Mufti Shahabuddin Popalzai, after two hours of deliberations with the clerics from across the province, announced that they have not received evidence from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Eidul Azha will be on October 27. The moon sighting conflict between the committee members of Qasim Ali Khan Mosque and the government sponsored Ruete Hilal Committee always erupts for Ramazan, Shaban and Zil Hajj. This time, the committee held a meeting on Tuesday, while the government sponsored Ruete Hilal Committee decided to meet on Wednesday to confirm that the new moon has been seen and the month of Zil Hajj has started.
