Shah was also upset that he was called a “money changer” during the PPP rally, and said that his party would not tolerate such language as it was not “healthy politics”. During its Hyderabad rally, the PPP had accused its chief rival of bribing nationalist parties to oppose the new local government law.
“Had Nawaz Sharif not intervened, no one could have stopped the army from toppling the present government,” claimed the PML-N leader. He also advised the PPP to “wake up,” as its allies were leaving it.
Shah also said that PML-N members were being attacked. Police went to the house of a party leader in Larkana, while “false cases” are being registered against Mumtaz Bhutto and his son. Murder cases have been lodged against the chief of the party’s youth wing in Karachi, Asif Khan, alleged Shah.
The PML-N leader added that his party would prefer to form alliances with other parties during next elections, but would also consider “seat adjustments” if any party wanted. The PML-N has been in touch with nationalist as well as religious parties, and would also be willing to talk to the Awami National Party, which is part of the PPP-led coalition government in the centre.
Welcoming newcomers
Shah welcomed 15 new members to the PML-N during the press conference. The new members mostly consisted of union and town councilors. Amongst the new inductees was Gul Memon, daughter of late PPP leader Ghulam Nabi Memon. “Being a Sindhi, I should have been with the PPP. But I opted for the PML-N after closely observing the party [PPP],” she said. Other new members included former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader from PS-128, Ghulam Mustafa, former ANP member from UC Saddar 129, Hidayatullah, and former PPP Malir information secretary, Ashiq Khan Sawati.

Its "the" news for me that PML-N exists in Rural Sindh. Shah Saheb is referring to 1997 elections, but he forgets that it was a continuation of MEHRANGATE, and that results were manipulated conspiracy of military establishment and (Late) Ghulam Ishaq Khan.
