Illegal business: Case against plaza owner, 10 town officials
An ACE team recommended a case against the plaza owner and the town planning officers.

The Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) has registered a case against a plaza owner and 10 town planning officers for constructing a fifth storey in violation of the approved plan.
The ACE took action on an application by the Gujranwala Bar Association’s former secretary general Amanullah and Dr Asif Javed, alleging that Sheikh Mohammad Shafique had constructed the additional storey of the Taj plaza at Satellite Town in connivance with Housing and Physical Planning Director Zafar Iqbal, Sub-engineer Mohammad Younas, Nandipur Town Officers (Revenue) Mohammad Aslam, Aslam Ghuman, Khudadad Tarrar, Pervez Pasha and Building Inspectors Mohammad Riaz, Saleemuddin and Mohammad Shahid. The applicants alleged that Shafique had also constructed shops on the space reserved for parking and sold them.
An ACE team led by Deputy Director Ejaz Akbar Bhatti, which held an enquiry, recommended a case against the plaza owner and the town planning officers.
