Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif submitted his reply in the Supreme Court on Tuesday in a dual nationality case, Express News reported.

In his reply, Sharif informed the court that while he was in self-exile in Saudi Arabia, former president general (retd) Parvez Musharraf had refused to renew his passport.

He further stated that he had to go to the United Kingdom for a medical checkup as part of his cancer treatment, however, he had refused to accept the offer of getting a foreign passport.

Sharif prayed to the court that a heavy fine should be imposed on Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz, who leveled allegations against him, and that the money should go into charity.

Riaz had alleged that Sharif held dual nationality.

The Punjab chief minister said that he is Pakistani by birth and that Riaz’s allegations were baseless.

@ishrat salim: Danish schools are for poors only and provide top class education. Those opposing are either not aware of the facts or are elitists who want best education only for rich.Danish schools example should be followed in other provinces also so that poors can also get better education and compete with rich on merit. It is a practice throughout the world to provide higher stndards education on merit. This is what Danish does.Shahbaz will be remebered for thsi positvely for long time to come unless jealous persons like Pervz elahi come aagain and close them down.
