VIP shuttle service: K-P Chief Minister inaugurates helicopter

The ceremony was attended by provincial government officials, CAA officers.

PESHAWAR:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti inaugurated the VIP helicopter flight project at the Peshawar Aviation Base on Saturday. The ceremony was attended by provincial government officials and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officers. Chief Secretary Ghulam Dastagir Akhtar said the project cost over Rs74 million, out of which over Rs42 million were spent on the construction of the aircraft hangar. The Elpha Taxi Link was completed with the assistance of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) who provided an estimated Rs32 million for a workshop, maintenance room, crew room, flight commandant office, tea bar, spare room, guard room and a store room. The facility of a 20KV standby generator was also installed, he said. Later, Hoti lauded the project while inspecting the hangar and other facilities.
