Extracurricular: Speech, art competitions about Japan
A first of its kind, art and speech competition about Japan was held at the Amphitheatre in Murree on Thursday.

A first of its kind, art and speech competition about Japan was held at the Amphitheatre in Murree on Thursday, said a press release issued by the Japanese embassy. Students aged 12 to 14 years from different schools took part in drawing and Urdu speech competitions on themes of their own choice related to Japan and Pakistan. The competition provided an opportunity for young and talented students to express themselves on the growing cordial relations between Japan and Pakistan, the statement read. Embassy of Japan Public Affairs Section Counsellor Toshikazu Isomura and Assistant Commissioner Murree Tariq Manzoor Chandio awarded certificates and souvenirs to the position holders of both competitions.
