Boxing: Brook, Khan talk over 2013 bout

Brook’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, believes the bout is almost ‘inevitable’.

Kell Brook’s camp has announced that they are starting negotiations with Amir Khan about a sell-out British fight between the two men in 2013, according to ESPN. Brook’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, believes the bout is almost ‘inevitable’, stating that he is hopeful by the time the fight is made Brook will be able to put his IBF welterweight world title at stake. Hearn mentioned that negotiations between the two camps took place after Khan’s loss to Danny Garcia earlier in the year. “I think this fight is inevitable, it’s too big to be ignored,” Hearn told Sky Sports.
