The candidate should have extensive (over 5 years) experience in web development, design, handling independent projects, coding, strong database skills and knowledge of web-based technologies (see below).
Salary package will be highly competitive.
The candidate will be expected to build their own in-house team of developers and designers for upcoming expansion of the Express Media Group online.
Technologies we expect to see experience in:
- Experience with PHP5
- Strong understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) preferred and a drive to write clean, manageable code
- Strong grasp of W3C standard (HTML and CSS)
- Strong grasp of JavaScript and at least one library (jQuery, Prototype or Mootools)
- Strong Knowledge of cross-browser development concerns
- Experience with DB design and optimized SQL queries (MySQL preferred)
- Good understanding of AJAX and Web 2.0 development
