Ben Affleck is still in touch with Jlo

Despite the tragic end of high profile couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez aka Bennifer about eight years ago, it turns out the ex-lovers are still in touch, Affleck reveals in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The love affair ended abruptly in 2004 as the couple was planning its wedding, “But we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great.’ I remember when she got American Idol. I said: ‘This was really smart. Good luck.’ I touch base. I respect her. I like her. And I’m really pleased to see her successful,” he added, insisting that his kind-hearted wife, actor Jennifer Garner, doesn’t mind.

The actor, who recently turned 40, will be releasing his new movie Argo — a political thriller revolving around the rescue of American diplomats during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis, which is already garnering an Oscar buzz.
