Robbery or kidnapping?: Rs40 million, cashier missing from a bank
A special audit team would visit the bank today (Thursday) to find out how the money went missing.

BANNU. A bank cashier went missing along with Rs40 million in the Tail Mandi area of Bannu city. An administrative official of the Habib Bank Branch said that cashier Muhammad Naeem Khan, a resident of Kot Belly, went missing on Tuesday afternoon; he did not reach his home after he left the bank. Relatives of Naeem presumed that he might have been kidnapped while the bank official said that they found Rs40 million missing from the bank while auditing on Wednesday. “A special audit team would visit the bank today (Thursday) to find out how the money went missing,” the official added, saying that so far they have not registered the case with the police presuming the cashier might have taken the money.
