Rabi festival: ‘UAF to hold outreach activities’
UAF will next organise an egg day on October 12 and a goat show from October 19 to October 21.

University of Agriculture (UAF) will hold outreach activities to transfer knowledge and skills to the grassroots, the UAF vice chancellor said on Tuesday. He was addressing the closing ceremony of the seven-day Rabi Festival, the World Space Week and the Punjab Youth Festival in the evening. He said the Rabi and Kharif festivals at the university had become a community event that aimed at transferring knowledge to stakeholders. He said outreach must spread at regional level to benefit village residents and improve the village economy. He said the festival promoted entrepreneurship. He congratulated the converners for organising the festival. He said the UAF will next organise an egg day on October 12 and a goat show from October 19 to October 21. The aim was to provide the opportunity for producers and consumers to interact. Rabi Festival Convener Prof Dr Muhammad Ashfaq thanked the organising committee and the participants.
