Baldia factory fire: Five more victims identified

Two other individuals, Masoodul Hasan and Faizan, were identified earlier.

KARACHI:
Five more bodies of individuals killed in the Ali Enterprises factory fire have been identified and handed over to families while 32 corpses are still lying in the morgue, Edhi officials said on Wednesday. “We are slowly handing them over,” an official told the Express Tribune. “They have been badly burnt and matching DNA results takes time.” The bodies that have been identified include 20-year-old Muhammad Israr, 72-year-old Muhammad Hanif, 30-year-old Muhammad Imran and 40-year-old Amna Baksh. Amna is the only woman to have been identified recently. Two other individuals, Masoodul Hasan and Faizan, were identified earlier.
