The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday appointed senior lawyer and former attorney general Qazi Muhammad Jameel as prosecutor in the contempt case against business tycoon Malik Riaz, Express News reported.

The hearing was headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal and Justice Ejaz Chaudhry.

The registrar on the Supreme Court’s directives presented a list of senior lawyers today.

The judicial bench turned down the request of putting Riaz’s name on the Exit Control List (ECL).

When Riaz’s counsel, Dr Basit requested the court to grant immunity from court hearings to his client, Justice Afzal said that the court will only take a decision in this regard after hearing the statements from all respondents.

The court adjourned the case for an indefinite period of time.

So this case will remain between Mother and Daughter. Retired Uncles and family friends are being appointed. Now since both father, son and their family members have been badly exposed what is left behind to investigate.
