Auto manufacturers: Ghias elected association’s chairman

PAMA, as part of its yearly rotation, has elected Parvez Ghias as new chairman and Saquib H Shirazi as vice chairman.

KARACHI: Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA), as part of its yearly rotation, has elected Parvez Ghias as new chairman and Saquib H Shirazi as vice chairman. Talking about the role of PAMA following his election, Ghias said he was committed to steering the automobile industry to a better future. He has been associated with the auto industry for the last seven years. Currently, he is the chief executive officer of Indus Motor Company, a leading automobile manufacturer of Toyota and Daihatsu brands in the country. Shirazi, who is the chief executive officer of Atlas Honda Limited, commented that the auto manufacturers association was determined to tackle all challenges and resolve issues being faced by the industry.
